The library is open to students before and after school from 7:00am until 3:00pm and during each lunch wave to check out books or work on assignments! Students using the library during lunch waves must report promptly when the lunch wave starts and return to class at the end of the lunch wave.
Be sure to get a library pass prior to the time you need to go to the library from your teacher or Mrs. V.
Teachers may schedule classes to visit the library for research or recreational reading. Please email Mrs. V to schedule your visit.
As an English Language Arts cross-curricular collaboration, Mrs. Jessie Taylor's art students visited the library to create poetry using recycled book pages from discarded books. Black-out Poetry is a type of found poetry that utilizes works created by another author, but the artist emphasizes specific words to write an original piece of poetry. The artist then illustrates the page to transform the words into a piece of art.
