The role of the GCMS Counselor is to facilitate the growth and development of students personally, socially, and academically. These services include, but may not be limited to, educational planning, decision-making skill development, and  personal-social skills.

As the Counselor at GCMS I strive to:

• Provide each student with the opportunity to develop self-direction, evaluation, and understanding.

• Foster a sense of self-respect, love of themselves and others, and a desire for community outreach.

• Aid in the development of mature individuals who understand the importance and responsibility of making decisions and accepting the consequences of those decisions.
